Job summary

Cajun Engineering in Tyler, Texas, a subsidiary of Cajun Industries Holdings, seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead EPC projects in refining, petrochemical, syngas, and renewable fuels markets. You will plan, direct, and coordinate engineering activities to meet time and budget goals.

The role collaborates with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, maintains documentation, and ensures safety compliance across design and construction activities.

Responsibilities

• Confer with project staff to outline work plan and assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
• Meet regularly with client to ensure expectations are being met; ensure engineering activities comply with all company and contract requirements and support the overall construction schedule.
• Review status reports prepared by project personnel and modify schedules or plans as required.
• Prepare bids, process specifications, test and progress reports and other exhibits that may be required.
• Use working knowledge of the multiple engineering disciplines and associated standards to plan and direct team through execution of project goals.
• Responsible for the overall Project Management operation; plans, coordinates, directs and manages work activities of designers and engineers to ensure quality and consistency of work process and design across teams.
• Prepare project reports for management, client, or others.
• Act as liaison between company, client and subcontractors.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all events, discussions, and issues.
• Provide scheduled projections of the status of the project.
• Coordinate project activities with activities of government regulatory or other governmental agencies when applicable.
• Assist other workers as needed.
