Calendar: Monday-Friday Overnight, 40 hours per week. Full Time, non-exempt. Grade 6. Compensation range: $19.86-26.09 hourly.
To act as a representative for the environmental supervisor when absent or unavailable and to lead the shift or area accordingly in their absence. Provide training, a clean, safe, healthy and environmental-friendly campus for students, staff and visitors through effective and efficient performance of assigned environmental service functions and tasks.
Follows the environmental services technician program for the area assigned within the guidelines provided by the Environmental Services Supervisor and the Environmental Services Manager such as: specialized cleaning techniques using accelerated hydrogen peroxide products. Lead will assist with training individuals in this technique to prevent cross contamination. Lead will assist with training of individuals in proper disposal of general waste and proper PPE usage when blood borne pathogens are involved. Responsible for coverage of areas due to absences.
High School or equivalent.
