An environmental engineering company is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer to support our Water Services Group. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sustainable water management solutions, a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, PE license, and at least 12 years of experience. Responsibilities include leading engineering teams, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing mentorship to junior staff. Qualifications
12 years of related experience required.
Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Responsibilities
Lead teams to create water and wastewater treatment facilities.
Review draft designs for compliance and conduct site reviews.
Perform water quality analyses and modeling.
Collaborate with sales staff for proposals and client meetings.
Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff.
Skills
Expert knowledge of computer aided design and drafting (CADD)
Expert knowledge of engineering design principles
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word)
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Expert knowledge of federal, state and local regulations
Education
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) license
