Job summary

NRG Energy in Houston is seeking a Manager to lead Enterprise Security Technology & Systems. You will guide design, implementation, and management of access control, video surveillance, and related physical security technologies across sites.

This role partners with IT, operations, and vendors to deliver scalable, risk-based solutions, enforce standards, and ensure secure integration with enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in corporate security or security technology.
• Experience delivering complex security technology projects across locations.
• Familiarity with security standards and regulatory environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise physical security technology projects.
• Serve as SME for access control, video surveillance, and related technologies.
• Design and implement scalable, risk-based security solutions across environments.
• Coordinate multiple projects, vendors, and resources to drive outcomes.
• Develop and evolve enterprise security technology standards and best practices.
• Evaluate existing systems to enhance performance and integration.
• Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams for secure integrations.
• Provide guidance to site leadership on security capabilities.
• Develop metrics and reporting for security initiatives.
• Support incident response and crisis management with technical support.
• Stay informed on emerging technologies and industry trends.
