Job summary

Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP seeks a Senior Manager, Enterprise Security Architecture to lead a modern security architecture framework ensuring secure by design systems, data, and applications. This hands-on role evaluates and governs security solutions, including AI-enabled capabilities, across hybrid environments.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in IT/security with deep expertise in infrastructure, IAM, data protection, and AI-driven security use cases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information security, IT, related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Ten or more years in IT or information security with at least 5 in enterprise/security architecture.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks, tools, encryption, authentication/authorization, and infrastructure security standards.
• Knowledge of AI/ML, cloud platforms, and hybrid architecture.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the enterprise security architecture framework.
• Develop target-state security roadmaps aligned to strategy.
• Participate in IT architecture review to ensure security compliance.
• Architect secure implementations across on-prem, cloud, and container platforms.
• Establish secure configuration management and system hardening standards.
• Define standards for secure use of AI and data protection.
