Job summary

New York Life's TDAV organization seeks a Lead Full-Stack Engineer to shape and evolve the enterprise AI platform, building scalable agentic AI solutions that transform how we work. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to lead technical initiatives, influence architecture decisions, and mentor engineers while remaining hands-on in design, development, deployment, and operations.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience building enterprise platforms or cloud-native systems.
• Hands-on with generative AI, agentic architectures, RAG, memory systems.
• Experience with MLOps/LLMOps in production.
• Strong GCP, Kubernetes, CI/CD and IaC experience.
• Proven ability to lead complex projects and mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of enterprise AI platform capabilities.
• Build and deliver complex agentic AI solutions with multi-agent architectures.
• Architect enterprise retrieval and knowledge management using RAG and semantic search.
• Design scalable cloud-native AI infrastructure on GCP, Kubernetes, IaC.
• Lead MLOps and LLMOps deployment, monitoring, governance.
• Collaborate with architecture, security, legal, risk, and business stakeholders.
• Drive engineering excellence through reviews, reusable frameworks, and mentorship.
• Champion AI-assisted software engineering and establish patterns.
