Qualifications

• Two years of increasingly responsible paraprofessional engineering work experience.

• Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate Texas driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Act as survey crew leader over a small surveying crew in the field.
• Review engineering plans to determine method of layout for construction projects.
• Process permits including petroleum pipeline permits for local oil and utility companies.
• Operate surveying equipment such as transits, levels, probing and survey rods.
• Determine angles and set grade stakes, hubs, turning points and benchmarks.
