Job summary

KBR Government Solutions at Hill AFB is seeking a Lead Engineering Technician to oversee repair and overhaul of Honeywell secondary power assets, ensuring compliance with directives, OEM standards, and program requirements. This role guides depot personnel, monitors production, supports troubleshooting, and coordinates with engineering and operations to meet quality, schedule, and performance goals.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical discipline (or 10 years related experience).
• Experience supporting maintenance, repair, overhaul, or depot operations in aerospace, mechanical, or electrical systems.
• Proficiency with technical publications, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; able to present metrics to leadership.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of repairs and overhauls to Honeywell secondary power assets per directives.
• Provide technical guidance to depot personnel and coordinate with engineering/operations.
• Monitor test cell assets to verify performance specifications are met.
• Schedule, plan, and report activities consistent with program plans.
• Maintain safety, quality, and process compliance; uphold MOS metrics.
• Collaborate with Honeywell engineering team for approvals outside procedures.
• Support troubleshooting and problem-solving using diagnostic equipment.
