AutoZone seeks a senior IT leader to guide a team delivering SD-WAN and Cloud networking solutions across the business. You will partner with business stakeholders to ensure capabilities meet practical needs and coordinate with support teams for stable operations.

Ideal candidates have 10–15 years in IT with deep networking expertise, leadership experience, and a track record in project budgeting and governance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• Requires 10–15 years’ experience based on demonstrated capabilities.
• Deep knowledge of IT, solution planning, LAN/WAN and SD-WAN.
• Expert in network architecture, governance and rollout processes.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Proficient in network security, data center and VoIP/conferencing.

This position leads a team of AutoZoners in the development, implementation, and support of AutoZone’s existing and new networking solutions, specifically SD-WAN and Cloud. Ability to work closely with business partners to ensure that new capabilities meet the practical needs of the company and with support teams to ensure operational stability is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of IT professional AutoZoners, this includes assigning/monitoring work, providing feedback, coaching, counseling, and salary administration
• Manages and tracks the progress of multiple projects. Performs project management and administration that include work plans, resource planning and control and proposing annual budgets.
• Building relationship with key business partners to identify and resolve business issues.
• Evaluates and recommends hardware and software products for applicability, compatibility, financial feasibility and integration with AutoZone systems.
• Provides the Director, direct reports, customers, and outside organizations with timely, competent, professional, and accurate memos, time estimates, project plans, and status reports.
• Manages system development and support activities to meet business needs in a timely and cost- effective manner while ensuring the right things get done as per the governance process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
• Requires ten to fifteen years’ experience based on consistently demonstrated capabilities
• In-depth and hands-on knowledge of Information Technology, solution planning, LAN, WAN, Routing, Cloud Networking and AI solutions for network operations
• Expert proficiency with the network architecture, methodology, governance, and roll-out/implementation process
• Leadership/supervisory skills
• Technical skills : Network administration, Data Center, Network Security, routing protocols, Enterprise WiFi, VoIP, Conferencing, Contact center, MPLS, SD-WAN and Enterprise WiFi. SD-WAN, AI Net-Ops and GCP experience is highly desirable
• Problem solving and analytical skills
• Presentation, facilitation and writing skills
• Project management – estimating, planning, controlling, and execution
