Job summary
Computershare in Jersey City is seeking a senior leader to drive the global workspace identity strategy and modern workplace solutions. You will lead strategy and execution for M365 transformation to boost productivity and user experience across a hybrid, global environment.
The role emphasizes designing, implementing, and governing workspace identity services, aligning with business goals, regulatory standards, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver secure, scalable identity solutions.
Qualifications
- Deep understanding of directory services, Entra ID (PIM, Conditional Access, MFA, identity lifecycle, Managed Identities, Enterprise Applications, etc.) and Active Directory in a global enterprise.
- Strong knowledge of Zero Trust identity solutions (e.g., Conditional Access, Passwordless, Windows Hello).
- Experience with SAML configuration, claims, attribute mappings, and identity federation.
- Understanding of API integrations and governance within M365/Azure.
- Understanding of Entra MFA and authentication methods (OTP, Passwordless, Tokens, FIDO).
Responsibilities
- Define and execute a global, user-centric workspace identity strategy aligned with business goals.
- Develop and leverage user personas to ensure solutions meet diverse user needs.
- Oversee design, implementation, and maintenance of modern workspace identity services (Entra ID, Active Directory, Conditional Access, MFA, identity lifecycle, SSO, Managed Identities, Enterprise Applications, etc.).
- Define and drive workspace identity strategy, leveraging emerging technologies to enhance productivity and employee experience.
- Ensure effective design, implementation, and integration of directory services aligned with business goals.
- Partner with executives and cross-functional teams (IT, HR, Facilities) to align initiatives with business strategy.
- Lead change management efforts, including training and user adoption.
- Track KPIs, analyze user feedback, and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure solutions meet regulatory and security standards in collaboration with InfoSec teams.
- Foster innovation and continuous improvement across the team, cultivating a culture of learning, experimentation, and knowledge sharing.
- Provide structured support and mentoring to develop Identity engineers and Operations team members.
- Lead change management initiatives, including training and user adoption.
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure optimal delivery and support.
- Prioritize initiatives using value-based decision-making.
- Manage and maintain a prioritized product backlog aligned with business value.
- Apply agile practices to deliver incremental value and respond to changing needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and release teams to ensure timely delivery.

Technology Services (CTS) partners with global businesses to deliver IT support, develop new products, and drive innovation. With approximately 1,800 employees, CTS operates through three groups: CIO, CTO, and COO. This role sits within the CTO group under Global Infrastructure Engineering, focusing on strategy, implementation, and advanced support for modern workspace identity solutions.
- CIO Group: Aligns with business units to drive strategy, initiatives, and continuous improvement through innovation and product practices.
- CTO Group: Responsible for designing, building, and managing technology services, including architecture, infrastructure, operations, and support, ensuring global service delivery.
- COO Group: Focuses on delivering digital transformation for Issuer Services to enhance client, shareholder, and customer experience.

Experience managing and mentoring teams, ensuring quality delivery, and contributing to large‑scale continuous improvement initiatives.
Ability to drive change in complex environments, manage dependencies, and deliver business outcomes effectively.
Direct responsibility for delivering and maximizing value from the Modern Workspace strategy through strong stakeholder partnerships.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships, challenge constructively, and respond effectively.
- Deep understanding of directory services, Entra ID (PIM, Conditional Access, MFA, identity lifecycle, Managed Identities, Enterprise Applications, etc.) and Active Directory in a global enterprise.
- Strong knowledge of Zero Trust identity solutions (e.g., Conditional Access, Passwordless, Windows Hello).

- Degree or professional qualifications.
- Agile certification (e.g., BCS Foundation in Agile).
