  • Own project plans, schedules, resources, and cross-functional execution.
  • Serve as primary technical interface for customers; resolve design and quality issues.
  • Identify and mitigate technical/program risks; drive actions to closure.
  • Provide technical signoff of engineering deliverables and ensure standards compliance.
  • Report Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Risk metrics to leadership.
  • Partner with Engineering, Applications, QA, Manufacturing, and Customers to deliver reliable solutions.

We are currently seeking a well-qualified candidate for the position of Lead Engineer - Engineer Level III, based in Endicott, NY. The Lead Engineer will serve as the primary technical authority and dedicated customer interface for our engineering organization. The Lead Engineer will combine strong design expertise with disciplined requirements management, project planning, and risk mitigation. This role requires a strategic leader who can make real-time technical decisions and commitments when working directly with customers on design development or quality and reliability issues, while coordinating between Applications Engineers and detail design teams to drive products toward successful delivery and exceed industry standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS in Engineering or related field
  • 7+ years engineering experience; 3+ years project management
  • Experience with UL508A, UL62368, and/or high-current electrical integration preferred
  • Knowledge of interconnect products and manufacturing processes
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
