General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton, CT, seeks a DC Electric Plant System Development Lead Engineer to support the UK SSN(A) program, embedded in the UK with sites across Leicester, Barrow-in-Furness, and Derby.

The role requires guiding UK MoD and BAE Systems, developing electric plant requirements, design, integration, and test/commissioning, with an initial two-year assignment and potential extensions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years post graduate Engineering experience.
• Ability to relocate to the UK.
