Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned ITR Lead in the Americas region to drive cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Operations, Project Management and Engineering. You will balance leadership of team tasks with hands-on ITR execution, delivering technical solutions across inquiry-to-order and order-to-remittance processes.

You will review inputs for clarity, guide ITR engineers during proposals and reviews, and manage escalations while continually improving processes using Lean methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university or college, or equivalent knowledge and experience.
• Deep knowledge of heavy-duty gas turbine technology.
• Significant experience in Engineering, Technology, or Customer Project Engineering, including Application Engineering and/or Requisition Engineering.
• At least 8 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong understanding of CM&U inquiry-to-order and order execution processes.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally occasionally, less than 10% of the time.
• Previous field or site experience with GE Vernova heavy-duty gas turbines is preferred.
• Knowledge of GE Vernova gas turbine product lines and MLI/BOM structures.
• High proficiency in gas turbine application and requisition processes.
• Strong understanding of gas turbine operations in simple cycle and combined cycle applications.
• Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor team members.
• Proven success working in a global, cross-functional, matrixed organization.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and influencing skills.
• Ability to work effectively across global locations.
• Strong customer focus and willingness to challenge the status quo.
• GE Vernova will only employ those legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the point of contact for internal stakeholders across Sales, Commercial Operations, Project Management, Sourcing, and Engineering for Agile ITR-related matters in the Americas region.
• Balance approximately 50/50 between leading team task assignments and hands-on ITR execution.
• Provide technical expertise and develop solutions across the inquiry-to-order and order-to-remittance process.
• Handle configuration, scope definition, performance considerations, schedule inputs, and execution approach.
• Review customer inquiry inputs and gate requests for scope clarity, completeness, and actionable direction.
• Support and guide ITR engineers during proposal creation, technical reviews, and customer negotiations.
• Review order-entry requests and manage work assignments.
• Manage technical and operational escalations.
• Monitor team capacity and workload distribution.
• Identify process gaps and drive improvements using Lean principles and KPI-focused problem solving.
• Support short cycle requests, change orders, sales order assignments, non-conformance support, and field request support.
• Integrate with Project Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Sourcing, vendors, service shops, and other teams.
• Provide timely and accurate responses to technical inquiries using engineering tools and technical documentation.
• Help drive technical rigor, customer focus, accountability, and continuous learning across the Agile ITR team.
