Job summary

Cisco Systems is seeking a Technical Leader to define and build core identity capabilities across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments. You will guide technical strategy from concept to production, translating complex identity and access challenges into enterprise-grade software for AI systems.

You will architect scalable IAM frameworks, deliver developer tooling, and mentor engineers while aligning with Security, AI Platform, and Cloud Operations teams to support scalable production

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years or Master’s with 8+ years in software engineering.
• 10+ years designing distributed systems and security platforms.
• 5+ years implementing enterprise identity/authentication protocols.

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable identity and access management frameworks for AI agents.
• Deliver reusable APIs, SDKs, and tooling for platform teams.
• Lead cross-functional alignment with Security, AI Platform and Cloud Ops.
• Set architectural direction and mentor engineering talent.
• Prototype MVPs and iterate toward production services.
