Qualifications

• Juris Doctor and bar admission in at least one state.
• 5+ years of post-bar legal experience.
• 5+ years of transactional experience in energy, infrastructure, construction, or project financing.

Responsibilities

• Structure, draft, and negotiate complex energy project agreements including PPAs and interconnection arrangements.
• Provide legal counsel on deal structures, grid interconnection processes, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead transactions from initial concept through closing, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Advise on AWS's renewable energy procurement program and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with business development, infrastructure, and sustainability teams to align legal solutions with business and climate objectives.
