Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. seeks a skilled Electrical Superintendent to oversee BESS construction on multiple projects, ensuring safe and timely execution. This full-time role requires leadership of field operations, mentoring crews, and coordinating with engineering and procurement teams.

Travel to sites is required across the Southwest region. The ideal candidate will have a journeyman license or equivalent, experience in utility-scale energy storage, and a proven track record in managing complex

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in utility-scale renewable or industrial electrical construction.
• 3+ years in a supervisory role; 3 years in energy storage construction preferred.
• Licensed electrician or journeyman preferred; OSHA 30-hour certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field operations of energy storage projects.
• Mentor superintendents, assistant superintendents, craft personnel and other junior level employees.
• Assign tasks, delegate responsibilities, and provide guidance and training to develop team members' skills.
• Hire and develop craft labor employees.
• Develop and implement operations procedures and tools for continuous improvement.
• Ensure adherence to Quality Control plan and safety procedures.
• Conduct site visits to assess progress and adherence to policies.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, estimating and other departments.
• Track status, performance metrics and project updates to senior management.
