Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 7+ years of manufacturing experience, or technical degree/certification with 5+ years.
• Experience operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining industrial production equipment.
• Knowledge of manufacturing safety practices, SOPs, process controls, and production documentation.
• Experience leading, training, or providing technical direction to production technicians or operators.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on proficiency with industrial tools and measurement instruments.
• Ability to interpret procedures, equipment documentation, and manufacturing instructions.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to work on-site in an industrial environment with PPE and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead technicians in daily work assignments, equipment prep, material staging, and production readiness.
• Ensure processes are conducted per approved procedures with safe, efficient execution.
• Operate and monitor automated equipment and control systems within specs.
• Apply expertise to grinding, mixing, extrusion, compression molding, and material handling.
• Perform equipment setup, inspections, adjustments, and maintenance support.
• Support commissioning, testing, and transition to live operations after safety approvals.
• Follow explosive-safety requirements and stop-work as needed; escalate issues promptly.
• Train and mentor technicians on operation, controls, and safety practices.
• Support QA activities including inspections, sampling, and material traceability.
• Participate in process-hazard reviews, readiness assessments, audits, and investigations.
