Organization: MCJCHV Sterile Processing

Job Summary:

Assist in coordinating the daily surgical schedule, ensure instrumentation is sterile and ready, and clean, disinfect, and sterilize endoscopy instruments across all areas.

Shift Hours: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Sign-On Bonus Eligibility: Not applicable to current or recent past VUMC staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
  • Monitor and document quality control measures.
  • Inventory supplies, instruments, and equipment.
  • Prepare instruments for sterilization following recommended procedures.
  • Operate departmental equipment safely.
  • Scan, assemble, and support instrument preparation for procedures.
