Piedmont Henry Hospital in Georgia is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to support physicians during endoscopic procedures in the endoscopy suite. The role includes performing technical and patient care tasks and ensuring smooth operation of the suite.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 years of ERCP experience, with CPR certification required upon hire. This is an on-site position at Piedmont Henry Hospital in Stockbridge, GA.

Responsibilities:

Facilitating patient care by assisting the physician during endoscopic procedures in the endoscopy suite, performing technical and some patient care duties. Assumes additional responsibility for the ordering of the endoscopy suite supplies, maintaining specialty equipment, communication with equipment representatives and orientation of new nurses and techs to proper use of specialized equipment.

Qualifications:

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required

Work Experience

• 3 years of experience as Endoscopy Technician with excellent technical skills in therapeutic endoscopy such as ERCP Required

Licenses and Certifications

• CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation CPR certified Upon Hire Required
