Job summary

PACCAR’s Electronics Project Management team is seeking a Technical Project Manager – Embedded Systems to lead end-to-end delivery of embedded vehicle software and hardware across Peterbilt, Kenworth, and DAF truck platforms. This role focuses on infotainment, vehicle controls, gateways, and transmission modules from concept through production launch.

The position requires coordinating global hardware/software development, driving risk management, ASPICE/ISO 26262 alignment, and delivering

Qualifications

B.S. in Engineering or related field.
7+ years in full product development lifecycle.
Proven cross-functional leadership in a matrix environment.
Experience with project planning, scheduling, critical path analysis, and prioritization.
Executive-level communication skills.
Hands-on knowledge of software lifecycles (Waterfall, Agile, Iterative).
Travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary interface between program managers and Embedded Engineering teams.
Identify and mitigate program risks, dependencies, and issues.
Coordinate hardware and software development across global teams.
Drive component development with electrical, software, and hardware leads.
Lead design reviews and ensure IP protection for innovations.
Support ISO 26262 safety concepts and ASPICE processes.
Develop dashboards, KPIs, and lifecycle processes.
Present updates to senior leadership.
