Role Overview

As Lead Embedded Software Engineer, AV, you'll manage a small team, contribute technically, and set the direction for video and audio solutions on ARM-based Linux devices. The team supports hardware like cameras, microphones, and speakers, focusing on driver development, media streaming, and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers focused on AV technology
• Develop and optimize video/audio streaming solutions
• Collaborate with Robotics, Computer Vision, and Engineering teams
• Handle customer issues and ensure high-quality code
• Test on various hardware and debug streaming issues

Qualifications

• Experience in building AV streaming software and technologies (RTSP, WebRTC, HLS, gRPC)
• Proficiency in Golang, C, and C++
• Knowledge of optimization for constrained hardware
