Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 10+ years’ proven experience in firmware development with real-time embedded systems, preferably in motion control.
• Experience leading small teams in embedded firmware.
• Proficiency in C/C++, Verilog, Python.
• Strong understanding of FPGA/microprocessor architectures and communication protocols.
• Experience with RTOS and embedded development tools.
• Ability to read schematics and datasheets.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct a small team (2-4) of firmware engineers to design, develop, test, and maintain firmware for motion control products.
• Mentor the firmware team to achieve project goals.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and applications engineers to define firmware requirements.
• Oversee implementation and optimization of control algorithms for motion control applications.
• Lead testing, debugging, and documentation of firmware processes and best practices.
