Job summary

Oho Group in Austin is seeking an experienced Embedded Firmware Engineer to join a grid-scale energy platform team. You will work across real-time embedded systems, developing firmware closely with hardware and power electronics. This hands-on role covers drivers, board bring-up, validation, and control.

You will influence architecture, mentor senior engineers, and contribute to the transition to a more sustainable energy grid while collaborating with hardware, controls, and energy teams.

Qualifications

• Strong C/C++ embedded development across bare-metal and RTOS (ideally Zephyr).
• Experience with ARM Cortex-M/R, low-level drivers, and hardware bring-up.

Responsibilities

• Develop firmware across embedded systems from drivers to system validation.
• Work closely with hardware, controls and power electronics engineers.
• Mentor engineers and influence platform architecture.
