Job summary
Light & Wonder is seeking a Lead Embedded Electronics Engineer to steer the design, development, and validation of advanced embedded systems for gaming products. You will own electrical architecture, power regulation, digital interfaces, and regulatory compliance from concept through NPI and into production.
The role requires a hands-on leader who mentors junior engineers, guides cross-functional teams, and ensures robust, compliant hardware across development stages.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in electrical system design, development, or testing.
- Experience taking products from concept through NPI to production release.
- Experience supporting regulatory certification and compliance testing.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, modeling, and simulation of embedded electrical systems.
- Develop low- to high-density circuit cards and power/signal conversion systems.
- Architect embedded system platforms including power regulation and digital communication subsystems.
- Ensure designs meet performance, reliability, manufacturability, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Direct technical design reviews and own electrical architecture decisions from concept through production.
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Interface with suppliers for vendor qualification and product launch support.
- Provide ongoing sustainment support for fielded hardware products.
