Job summary

STATE STREET CORPORATION is seeking a Product Security Engineer/Architect – Email Security to lead the enterprise email security strategy, architecture, and roadmap. You will partner with the Email Platform team and Cyber Defense Center to strengthen defenses against phishing, BEC, and other email-borne threats.

The role requires 8+ years in cybersecurity with hands-on email security experience, and a background in financial services is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Info Security, or related field.
• 8+ years in cybersecurity, security engineering or architecture.
• 5+ years hands-on with email security technologies and threat protection.
• Experience in financial services or regulated industries preferred.
• Certifications such as CISSP/CCSP/GIAC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive enterprise email security strategy, architecture, and roadmap.
• Lead evaluation and deployment of email security technologies.
• Collaborate with the Email Platform team to deploy security across the email ecosystem.
• Enhance detection, investigation, and response to phishing and BEC threats.
• Work with Threat Intelligence, Identity Security, and IR teams to identify threats.
• Lead vendor assessments and integrate security solutions with SIEM/SOAR.
• Develop security standards and implementation guidance for email security.
• Track metrics on phishing resilience and risk reduction.
• Serve as SME for enterprise email security initiatives.
