Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Three years of technical experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic equipment.
• Technical training can substitute for the experience on a year-for-year basis.
• Additional technical experience can substitute for education on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Lead work in installing, maintaining, and repairing electronic component systems and related devices.
• Perform duties of technician in more difficult and technical areas.
• Coordinate shop and field repair work to be performed.
• Maintain technical records and reports of maintenance and repairs.
• Test electronic equipment to evaluate performance and recommend corrective procedures.
• Assist technicians with interpretation and performance of technical problems and procedures.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings for technicians.
