Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking an Electronics Technician 4 to join the Security and Electronic Systems unit.

You will design, install, and maintain electronic security services including IDS, access control, video surveillance, and IT systems for federal, local, and commercial clients. Responsibilities include leading installation teams, performing safety audits, and coordinating with cross-functional groups. Travel up to 50% is required; a valid driver’s license and security clearance eligibility

Qualifications

• 8+ years electronics installation/maintenance across multiple systems.
• 3 years focused on electronic security systems.
• Strong oral, written and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent time management and organization skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams on large, complex installation projects with limited supervision.
• Lead toolbox talks, ORMs, and safety audits.
• Install and maintain equipment locally and globally per design packages.
• Program and install head end equipment for IDS, ACS and CCTV.
• Troubleshoot systems and hardware across locations.
• Lead on-site software commissioning and testing.
• Document and track RFIs and daily reports.
• Create and manage project schedules and system integrations.
• Forecast and manage project labor hours.
• Mentor and guide Technicians.
