Qualifications

• Three years of technical experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic equipment.
• Technical training in electronics can substitute for the experience on a year-for-year basis.
• Additional technical experience will substitute for the education on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Lead worker in installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic systems, recording devices, and other electronic equipment.
• Coordinate shop and field repair work to be performed.
• Maintain technical records and reports of maintenance and repairs.
• Conduct tests of electronic equipment to evaluate performance and recommend corrective procedures.
• Provide assistance to technicians in interpretation and performance of technical problems and procedures.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings for technicians.
