A clean energy technology company is seeking a staff level technical lead Electro-mechanical Engineer in Berkeley, California. You will design and develop innovative electro-mechanical systems, lead a multidisciplinary engineering team, and ensure the successful transition from concept to mass production. Candidates should have a degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering with significant experience in electrical and mechanical designs, including CAD proficiency. Qualifications
Bachelor’s with 6+ years or master’s with 5+ years of relevant experience.
Proven experience in design for medium to high volume products.
Strong mechanical and electrical fundamentals and first principles hand calculations.
Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership and mentorship within a multidisciplinary team.
Own the electromechanical design of battery products.
Lead mechanical design analysis including thermal and structural.
Create drawing packages and manufacturing instructions.
