Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) seeks a Senior EM Analyst in Dayton, OH to model and simulate electromagnetics and acoustics. You will lead a multidisciplinary team in signal processing, CEM, and AI/ML to deliver high-fidelity radar solutions and transition research into real-world applications.

The ideal candidate holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering, 6+ years in electromagnetics, and proven proposal success. U.S.

Qualifications

• PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field with a specialization in Signal Processing or Computational Science.
• 6+ years of experience in Electromagnetics Analysis of systems and platforms.
• Proven ability to write and contribute to winning technical proposals.
• Strong technical communication skills for team leadership and business development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in the development of advanced solutions to complex physical problems.
• Develop software algorithms and tools to solve problems involving interaction of electromagnetic energy with complex structures.
• Research and develop next generation radar system solutions and platforms.
• Research and develop AI/ML based techniques to extend traditional algorithms and capabilities.
• Collaborate with a cross-disciplinary team of mathematicians, physicists, RF/antennas engineers, and computer scientists to solve large-scale problems.
