Job summary

Waterloo Electric Service in Clarke County seeks a motivated Lead Electrician to install, repair, and troubleshoot wiring and control equipment across residential, light commercial, and government projects. You will train apprentices, supervise现场, and lead diverse projects with room to grow.

Journeyman level is preferred, but not required; the role emphasizes leadership, safety, accuracy, and excellent customer communication.

Qualifications

• Experience installing and repairing wiring and electrical fixtures.
• Ability to follow safety rules and work in varied environments.
• Strong problem-solving and measurement skills.
• Willing to train apprentices and lead on-site teams.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules and regulations
• Maintain a clean and safe jobsite environment
• Use blueprints or plans to determine electrical requirements
• Install new electrical systems and repair existing systems
• Provide bids for work orders (occasional)
• Interact with customers, suppliers, and other professionals
• Keep work vehicles organized and inventoried
• Track materials and hours for invoicing
• Speak professionally with clients and colleagues
