Job summary

Intuitive Machines is seeking a seasoned, detail-oriented engineer for the Electrical Vehicle Engineering (EVE) team in Palo Alto, CA. You will lead an electrical team, test flight-critical systems, wire harnesses, and avionics for advanced spacecraft, working with senior staff to ensure flight readiness.

The role involves system integration, test definition, and anomaly resolution across multiple shifts, with travel to launch bases as needed. Strong collaboration and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, electronics, aerospace engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience; Master’s degree counts as 2 years.
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
• Ability to work varying shifts as business needs require.
• Proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Define test environments and coordinate with EAGE for test hardware.
• Lead Electrical test team across 3 shifts, 7 days per week.
• Assist electrical integration of spacecraft subsystems for power and data handling.
• Design and maintain wiring diagrams, schematics, and test procedures.
• Support functional and environmental testing campaigns (TVAC, Vibration, EMC).
• Provide first-line debugging of electrical non-conformances and coordinate with SMEs.
