Job summary

Strativ Group in El Segundo, CA is seeking a Lead Electrical Systems Engineer to own the electrical architecture behind complex flight hardware. You will lead the electrical direction of a vehicle while staying close to the detail, making sound design decisions and solving integration issues in the lab.

Applicants should bring 7+ years of hands-on electrical engineering, strong analog/digital design, and experience with aerospace hardware.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on electrical engineering experience.
• Strong grounding in analog and digital circuit design, schematic capture and PCB development.
• Experience with avionics, flight electronics, spacecraft, payload, launch-vehicle, missile or other complex aerospace hardware.
• Experience with power distribution, harnessing, electrical interfaces and lab-based hardware troubleshooting.
• Ability to lead technical work across disciplines while staying hands-on with detailed engineering work.

Responsibilities

• Own electrical-system architecture across avionics, flight electronics, power distribution and vehicle interfaces.
• Define electrical requirements, interface-control documentation and integration plans.
• Lead schematic, PCB, harness, grounding and electrical-interface design activity.
• Support hardware bring-up, debugging, troubleshooting and environmental qualification.
• Work closely with systems, software, mechanical, GNC and payload teams to resolve integration challenges.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance while remaining hands-on with detailed engineering work.
