Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a technical lead for the SEIT EDI team in Roy, Utah, supporting the Sentinel program. The role focuses on developing electrical designs, integrity, and lifecycle capability through Capital Architect/Logic Siemens and interconnect diagrams.

You will review ICDs, schematics, and data sheets while coordinating with other integration teams. The position requires DoD Secret clearance and citizenship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 5 years of experience, or 3 years with a Master’s degree.
• Experience with Siemens Capital Architect / Logic and interconnect diagrams.
• Familiarity with CAD/ECAD tools for cable design (Siemens Capital: Harness).

Responsibilities

• Develop Capital interconnect & logic diagrams in support of Weapon System Architecture development.
• Review ICDs, system one-lines, schematics, wiring diagrams, part data sheets, interconnect diagrams, specifications, electrical analysis and trade studies.
• Perform research, trade studies, evaluation, and systems integration in electrical or electro-mechanical systems, cables, connectors, power systems, test equipment, and more.
• Develop courses of action (COAs) and recommended path forward in support of gap/problem resolution.
• Attend internal program and technical exchange meetings.
