Job summary

gpac is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee commercial and industrial electrical construction projects from kickoff to completion. You will supervise field teams, coordinate subcontractors, manage schedules, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive knowledge of electrical systems, and hands-on management to drive project success while maintaining client relationships and adherence to plans and budgets.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience as Electrical Superintendent or Foreman in commercial/industrial electrical construction.
Experience leading commercial/industrial electrical projects including healthcare, manufacturing, data centers or institutional facilities.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and construction practices.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily field operations for commercial/industrial electrical projects.
Lead Foremen, Journeyman Electricians, Apprentices and subcontractors for efficient execution.
Develop and maintain project schedules with Project Managers.
Review drawings, specs, and documents to ensure work aligns with plan.
Coordinate materials, equipment and manpower to meet timelines.
Conduct daily jobsite planning meetings and communicate expectations.
Ensure OSHA safety compliance and NEC requirements on site.
Monitor workmanship for quality throughout all phases.
Identify and resolve field issues and scheduling conflicts.
Coordinate inspections with authorities and complete documentation.
