Rex Moore in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a skilled Electrician Journeyman to perform electrical installations and interpret blueprints in accordance with NEC, UBC, NFPA codes. The role requires reading and applying blueprints and providing safe, high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• State-certified electrical journeyman license if mandated by state.

Responsibilities

• Proficient interpretation and application of utilities blueprints as applied to the electrical scope
• Follows all live-work policies & procedures
• Interprets & applies requirements of NEC for all installations, including special systems & occupancy
• Able to read UBC, NFPA-72, NFPA-70E, construction safety orders and all applicable code requirements proficiently
• Investigates or assists in investigation and reporting of near misses, incidents & injuries involving jobsite employees
