Job summary

DP Electric is seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to oversee non-industrial electrical installation projects in Tempe, AZ. This hands-on leadership role requires coordinating field crews, ensuring safety, and maintaining project progress while meeting quality standards.

You will read blueprints, supervise crews, mentor apprentices, and coordinate with Project Managers and other trades to deliver reliable, compliant electrical systems on time.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification.
• 10 years of electrical construction experience with leadership responsibility.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, safety standards, and codes.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varied conditions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical crews for installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Plan daily activities, assign tasks, and provide clear instructions.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety requirements.
• Monitor progress, schedules, and use of labor, materials.
• Identify site issues and resolve electrical problems promptly.
• Coordinate with project leadership and other trades.
• Train, mentor electricians and apprentices.
• Manage tools, equipment, and materials.
• Complete daily reports and maintain project records.
