Job summary

Join Southland Industries as a Senior Electrical Estimator in Houston, TX. You will lead estimating efforts on complex electrical projects, mentor junior estimators, and ensure comprehensive and accurate estimates are delivered timely. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience and knowledge in estimating techniques and engineering principles. The role requires strong leadership and communication skills to interface with various stakeholders throughout the estimating process.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of estimating, cost control, and/or engineering experience related to mechanical or electrical construction.
• Thorough knowledge of estimating techniques and company procedures.
• Ability to coordinate and supervise group work efforts.

Responsibilities

• Provide and/or coordinate full estimating services on all projects including large, complex electrical projects.
• Mentor junior estimators.
• Coordinate and lead total estimating effort relevant to bid or project.
• Review proposal specifications and project drawings to determine scope of work.
