Job summary

Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control seeks an Electrical Engineer to join the Hardware Engineering team in Grand Prairie, TX. You will lead hardware design, troubleshoot, oversee suppliers, and support production with a focus on servo drive electronics and motor control for missiles and actuation platforms.

The role requires strong hands-on skills, the ability to lead IPT efforts, and experience communicating with government customers. A US citizenship and secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field; Master/PhD preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in electrical hardware design with servo control or actuation experience.
• Experience with hardware development for aerospace/defense programs.
• Ability to read complex schematics and work with test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead hardware design and troubleshooting on defense programs.
• Oversee CAS/servo suppliers and production support.
• Drive root-cause investigations and engineering changes through CCBs.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate cross-functional teams.
