Job summary
TYLin in Detroit is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead and support design for rail and transit projects. You will produce drawings, specifications, layouts, calculations, and technical documentation for power distribution, stations, facilities, and lighting systems.
Role requires coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and transit clients, participating in field investigations and construction support, and mentoring junior engineers.
Qualifications
- Requires a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Approximately 5–10+ years of relevant experience in electrical infrastructure and power distribution design.
- Proficiency with NEC and applicable standards; experience with AutoCAD, Revit; AGi32 experience for lighting calculations.

- Lead and support electrical design for rail and transit projects.
- Produce drawings, specifications, layouts, calculations, and technical documentation for power distribution, stations, facilities, and lighting systems.
