Job summary

Hire Consulting Services is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to establish and lead its first Phoenix office. The role focuses on building the electrical practice for semiconductor, life sciences, and industrial facilities, from staffing to project delivery in the Phoenix market.

Based in Phoenix, AZ, the position requires a PE license (AZ) or ability to obtain, and experience leading electrical design for process-driven facilities. The office will grow into a full-service regional hub.

Qualifications

• Licensed Electrical PE in Arizona or able to obtain.
• Experience leading electrical design for industrial/semiconductor/life sciences facilities.
• Desire to learn and grow with a new regional office.

Responsibilities

• Open and lead the Phoenix office as local point of contact for clients.
• Hire, mentor, and develop engineers and designers as the office grows.
• Staff and staff projects by coordinating with other offices to deliver work.
• Design power distribution for industrial/critical facilities including LV/MV distribution, motor controls, lighting, standby generation, and fire alarm.
• Perform and review short circuit, coordination, and arc flash studies.
• Lead electrical design from basis of design through CD, CAC, and startup.
• Coordinate with process, mechanical, and controls engineers on integrated facility designs.
• Review and seal drawings and calculations as Engineer of Record.
