Job summary

Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a full-time licensed Senior Electrical Engineer to lead our electrical design teams. The candidate will mentor staff, oversee multi-disciplinary rail and industrial projects, and drive project management and client relationships.

The role requires a PE license, 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering, strong communication skills, and hands-on design experience covering power systems, substations, LV

Qualifications

• Minimum eight years of experience on similar projects.
• Current PE license.
• Experience as a senior electrical engineer or able to step up to lead multi-disciplinary rail/industrial projects.
• Design experience across power systems (primary/secondary), substations, LV distribution, control systems (SCADA), and lighting.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to develop client connections.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineer on projects and provide project management.
• Verification and technical review of electrical designs.
• Provide design, design management, specifications, and studies for industrial projects.
• Develop good client relationships and assist in marketing for new projects.
• Involvement in preparation of engineering fees for procurement.
