Job summary

Renewyx is recruiting a Lead Electrical Engineer to own the electrical scope from design through start-up for industrial facilities. The role supports design teams in Madison, WI or Detroit metro, with hybrid work arrangements.

You will lead power systems, lighting and control design, perform NEC/NFPA-compliant calculations, and guide installation, start-up, and commissioning on site.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering.
• Industrial electrical design experience.
• Sound working knowledge of NEC and NFPA codes.
• Proficiency in Revit, SKM Power Tools and lighting calculation software.
• Experience with medium voltage systems, power regeneration or energy reduction.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of power systems, AC drives, lighting and lighting control, and protection for industrial facilities.
• Perform engineering calculations behind power and control systems using Revit and SKM.
• Plan equipment installation and start-up and support on-site commissioning.
