Job summary

Qualifications

• BS or higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or related field with Electrical concentration).
• Minimum 3 years of practical electrical engineering experience in design, analysis, testing of complex electrical/electromechanical and underwater vehicle systems.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a US Government security clearance (active preferred).
• Must be a US citizen.

Responsibilities

• Electrical design and analysis of components and subsystems for underwater robotic and electromechanical systems.
• Work with incomplete requirements to generate designs with latitude to decide under minimal supervision.
• Exercise technical judgment, creativity, and initiative with attention to the system perspective.
• Prepare and participate in regular design reviews.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, and systems engineers to architect a working system.
• Supervise/mentor junior engineers or technicians as needed.
• Operate with autonomy while knowing when to seek assistance.
• Pursue growth and expansion of technical talents and responsibilities.
