Job summary

Black & Veatch Family of Companies in Dallas, TX seeks an Electrical Engineer with deep EHV transmission expertise (345kV+). The role leads a team, develops advanced models, and advises on project execution.

You will perform complex power system studies, mentor staff, and coordinate with clients and stakeholders to deliver multi-disciplinary projects. PE preferred; relocation to HQ may be considered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Minimum 5 years related work experience in power systems.
• PE license preferred or required for project needs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for modeling and simulation of EHV transmission systems.
• Lead and support preparation of computer-based models for EHV transmission systems.
• Perform and oversee a wide range of power system studies (load flow, short circuit, EMT, stability).
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on design guides, codes, and standards.
