System One is seeking an Electrical Engineer (Data Center) for a 6 month contract in the Denver, CO area. The role requires leading large-scale data center designs onsite, coordinating with project teams and field personnel to meet scope, budget, and schedule targets.

The candidate should have at least 11 years of experience, strong communication and leadership skills, and a professional engineering license or active pursuit.

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed design of large-scale data center environments following standards.
• Collaborate with project teams and field personnel on scope, budget and schedule.
• Incorporate schedules, budgets and criteria into physical designs and layouts.
• Provide guidance on design risk factors for redundancy and resiliency.
• Prepare and review technical drawings to meet standards and customer requirements.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide training to technical staff.
• Coordinate with clients to determine project requirements and scope of work.
• Support business development with site visits and scope definition.
