Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer in Richmond, Virginia. You will lead the electrical discipline for multiple data center projects, responsible for all phases from design to construction. Your expertise will include creating detailed drawing packages and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in engineering.
• Consulting engineering design experience producing IFC drawings.
• State‑issued professional engineering license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical discipline of multiple projects.
• Develop construction-ready drawing packages.
• Travel to project sites for surveys and collaboration.

Skills

Electrical design for data centers

Fluency in design and modelling software

Inter-discipline knowledge of facility systems

Understanding of telecom and fire alarm design

Education

BS in electrical engineering or equivalent
