Job summary

Olsson is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer for Building Design to drive electrical system design on complex building projects. You will mentor engineers, guide technical direction, and work directly with clients to ensure design quality and project success.

You will lead coordination with multidisciplinary teams, set design standards, and help grow the South Facilities & Design practice with innovative solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience designing electrical systems for complex building projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• Strong experience with power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems in facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical system design for complex building projects and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Set QA/QC standards and best practices for electrical design.
• Mentor engineers and designers, providing technical reviews and career guidance.
• Engage with clients directly, supporting meetings and pursuits.
• Contribute to design strategy and project planning to drive effective solutions.
