Job summary
A leading bus manufacturer in Crookston, Minnesota, is seeking an Engineering Lead Bus Specialist to support production line operations by resolving electrical and programming issues encountered during electrical checkouts. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering and experience in the industry, alongside strong communication skills. This role includes participation in electrical checkouts and the execution of in-plant testing, contributing to ongoing process improvements and supplier application approvals.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of equivalent related industry/technology experience is preferred.
Ability to travel < 15%.
Responsibilities
Investigate and resolve electrical and programming issues on production line.
Participate in electrical checkouts of first bus built for customer orders.
Create and release programming updates as needed.
Support issue resolution using J1939 network traffic analysis.
Execute in-plant testing of electrical and programming solutions.
Skills
Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems
Knowledge of high-voltage systems

Education
