  • Perform short circuit, coordination, and arc flash studies using industry-standard software (e.g., SKM, ETAP, EasyPower).

  • Collaborate with mechanical, production, and project management teams to ensure timely and accurate project execution.

  • Review and approve all electrical documentation for quality, accuracy, and compliance with UL, ANSI, IEEE, and NEC standards.

  • Provide technical support during production, testing, and field startup phases.

  • Mentor junior engineers and drafters in design practices and standards.

  • Maintain current knowledge of applicable codes, technologies, and best practices in power system design.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred).

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred (or ability to obtain within 12 months).

  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in switchgear, power distribution, or industrial electrical design.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical or similar design software.

  • Experience with relay programming, protective coordination, and arc flash analysis tools.

  • Strong understanding of UL891, UL1558, ANSI C37, and IEEE standards.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
